Throughout the Islamic world, in their schools, in their mosques, hatred is taught, daily, against other religions--- Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism... etc. Is it any wonder why there are 600 almost empty Christian Churches in Jerusalem, but very few Christians. In fact, throughout the Islamic Middle East, Christians and Jews have been tormented, persecuted, murdered and/or driven out. Except for Israel, where all faiths are protected and where the only civilized society still exists...... for now.

It will lose out, long term, because it's people get a good look at how Western Civ works and they want some. It's not a guarantee, unfortunately. The Roman Empire wasn't destroyed in Late Antiquity by barbarian conquests; it was destroyed by hungry barbarians who wanted to join the Empire. But they didn't know how to maintain a civil society or the Roman infrastructure. You could say they loved the Empire to death. If the West has lost its civilizational confidence, its Muslim immigrants will love it to death there too. The jury is out.
