No, I do not have any idea. I think I will check into it.

The Low cost PC's do not seem to make much profit. I think that CPQ's profit from selling a lot of these babies last quarter was only about 6 M and they had about 70% of the market. So this is a strategic retail channel product but there is not much direct profit margin in it. Now all these companies are going to fight over marketshare for this low end market segment. It may be a neccessary fight but it does not look like a profitable fight. I think DELL did the right thing by staying away from this market. They need to build their high end capabilities.
