As of 2009, Hamas is listed on the U.S. State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The FBI and United States Department of Justice have stated that Hamas threatens the United States through covert cells on US soil.

you should know that international law has not declared Hamas a terrorist group since it has the right to resist Israeli occupation (theft of Palestinian lands).

1.) Not every country has mirrored US policy toward various groups we've labeled as terrorists. But we don't require the UNSC, or any other international body, to apply "international law" for us to continue that policy. The absence of international legal acts declaring Hamas an terrorist group DOES NOT NEGATE sovereign states from doing so, and acting accordingly.

2.) Israel is not occupying Gaza. There are no Israeli troops stationed in Gaza, nor are there any Israeli settlements in that territory. The Israelis have blockaded Gaza because Hamas has publicly declared war against Israel and conducted continuing acts of aggression against that country.

3.) A number of the following countries have labeled Hamas as a terrorist organization:

4.) Jews were located in Palestine LONG before Arabs. The known history of Palestine, and the Kingdom of Israel, has a far longer historical precedence that Arab or Turkish "theft" and occupation.

Furthermore, all of these nations in the region were carved out of the defeated remnants of the Ottoman Empire, thereby giving the victors of that war the right to divide those territories up in a manner that provided the best governance.

5.) Hamas not only has aggressive designs against Israel, but also the rest of the world. Their political leaders have PUBLICLY STATED AS SUCH.

That statement alone makes them a threat to international order and the security of ALL sovereign states.
