While I agree that market mood or sentiment is unreliable, a reliance on my assessment of "the fundamentals" would similarly be unreliable. There is an alternative: "price". GZ's model, and my own trend following, is based on perceived trends and their endings, the latter triggering a "stop". I remained short simply because my mental stop was not triggered.
