Janski->>>In other words, you are short and by making bullish statementshelp the hedge funds determine that the price goes down and
manipulate it in that direction.<<< I think that would be against the law. The shorts on the IOMEGA board posted as bears. They just used the board as a contrarian indicator.I have talked with other hedge fund managers who do monitor the boards. Just a fact.
I certainly am not saying that is the case(contrarian indicator) with ANCOR though Ed D. is saying it is. Talk with him about it.
I'm just saying that some hedge funds monitor the boards along with the other factors. The Fortune article on IOMEGA and Diomega documents a few such hedge funds and shorts who did exactly that.Go into the fortune files and they probably still have the article. Some of the short sellers mentioned in the article had posted on the IOMEGA board at that time and the posts are probably still retrievable.

>>> Look atthe 10Q statements from Ancor for for past two years, the news that used to come out and put it against the chart. Funny how the
changing fundamentals(balance sheet/cash position, $$deals) trail the
price action.<<<
I agree with you. Ancor has gone up and down according to how the numbers play out and usually the retail investor has been the last to know. That's why not being a trader and not following charts and liking Ancor and FC into the future,I dollar cost average. It certainly has taken some of the volitility out of it for me personally and certainly not above water at this point.
With Ken H. trying to keep the lid on information, will this still be the case? According to Kerry, Kinnard wasn't privy to the inside information and were a little miffed. Will the charts indicating what is coming up for ANCR numbers be as good an indicator given that KEN H. trying to hold his cards closer to the vest?
