Paul, I think you have nailed it on the head. That's why it is irrelevant if gold moves in 1997 or 2004 if you plan to be around and have a spare change.
Most of so called "paper" is concentrated in hands of illegal,
lawless and incompitent rullers/countries that would without doubt
squander and subsequently waste this paper (after years in Swiss Bank accounts) That would surely destabilise the world with disastrous results for peoples and paper. The oil substitute has very large relevance as I think what looks prohibitevely expensive now would seem like nothing in comparison to oil.

Paul,
That is what we have said over & over. The Swiss Govt. can not simply
"decide" to sell gold - it takes a constitional amendment and 75% passage at a national election.
