Yes I'm aware that the feds are viewed with suspicion in preventing various groups from trying to more accurately measure the flow early on. But that also just makes BP look more idiotic if the flow turns out to be substantially higher than their designed solution. It will make it look like they believed their own BS. However, if they ramp the recovery flow to 13-14KBPD by monday morning, and the remaining leak looks like 1KBPD, I will be very impressed. In that case, they might have only 2-4 days of the former (pre riser removal) flow total left before killing the well from the relief well.
