I view this as a bad car wreck, many people killed, many hurt, many more to get hurt and all we get from the govt is arm waving and gum flapping about who's going to pay and who's fault it is while the freaking oil well is still ruining people's lives.

Steve, it is the most outrageous aspect of this entire affair.

While the oil was hovering offshore, relatively harmlessly, during a time in which the federal government SHOULD HAVE BEEN acting to put in place protective measures, the Obama administration was spending its time laying blame and arguing about who was going to pay for it. Disgraceful.

All the while, BP was saying, "We assume liability for it". Period, end of story. We'll pay. It was a non-issue.

Valuable time was wasted as Obama expressed his feigned "anger" for political gain.

I just can't begin to express how disgusted I am with Barack Obama over this. He could have done something, and chose not to.

If this becomes the disaster and tragedy that everyone expects, there is no one else to blame.
