you remind me of a friend of mine...

in his youth he smoked marijuana and shot up just about anything you could get into your viens via a hypo.

he now has 6 kids (and grandkids). the other day when we were speaking he was harping on marijuana use/users.

i asked him:

"jo -- you are very familiar with the effects of drugs... who would you rather find yourself on the freeway with: someone who's stoned or someone who's drunk?"

he did pause a bit before he answered, then said "i guess someone stoned"

take a look at some stats:

Annual Causes of Death in the United States
Tobacco 435,0001
Poor Diet and Physical Inactivity 365,0001
Alcohol 85,000 1
Microbial Agents 75,0001
Toxic Agents 55,0001
Motor Vehicle Crashes 26,3471
Adverse Reactions to Prescription Drugs 32,0002
Suicide 30,6223
Incidents Involving Firearms 29,0001
Homicide 20,3084
Sexual Behaviors 20,0001
All Illicit Drug Use, Direct and Indirect 17,0001, 5
Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Such As Aspirin 7,6006
Marijuana 07

what is your problem with cannabis?

i have 6 children (and as many grandchildren), am conservative, orthodox christian, and just dont think its a big deal. personally, i am persuaded that should one believe its EVIL then they should simply look realistically at the facts and they will conclude that IT IS THE LESSER OF EVILS.

one of my sons just turned 21 and was smoking marijuana. he works hard, goes full time to college, and is married and raising a child.

when discussing FACTS i told him that i had no objection to his use of marijuana but that it would probably be best to wait until his brains is fully developed which i understand to be around age 25.

i also told him that it could possible effect his studies, although when i was in high school some very SMART students were pot/acid heads.

he apparently took my counsel to heart and decided to stop for now and concentrate on his studies.

my generation indulged in just about everything and then we turned around and told our kids - unrealistically - to "just say no."

we had "free love" but then got religion and now tell our kids:

ABSTINENCE!

i do believe that abstinence IS best, but i'm not a fool. i tell my sons (have 5 of them)...

... if you can'T manage to keep out of her pants PLEASE do ME and yourself a favor and STRAP ONE ON.

josefy,

what about the 17k who die along the border due to drug wars?

drugs are bad - no doubt. do we really need to have 500k non violent drug offenders in prison to the tune of $30k+ a year each?

really? that adds value to society?

the problem is big government makes a ton of illicit cash off the drug trade.

the WORST thing for drug dealers is to decriminalize the drugs.

the FEAR that.

we had the CIA brining cocaine/crack to the inner city in america. why? to make make big bucks. if the money wasn't there, perhaps the crack epidemic would've never occurred,

now we have the government knee deep in the heroin trade...

rferl.org

here's the spin...

youtube.com

in addition, the completely failed "drug war" is a foundation for the creeping police state where they shoot your pets, you, your kids and take your property...

also, why should someone who can benefit from THC (cancer patient in pain) have to pay $1800 to a big pharma company for a "weed" he can grow in his backyard for free?

so, criminal drug laws benefit, corrupt governments, the police state, drug dealers, those who hate the constitution, big pharma, the security complex and leaves 17k dead at the border every year and who know how many others.

now, i don't think you support any of that, but you still will choose to keep them occurring - but remember how the elites think... they want you to love your slavery... and they work hard to program you to like your slavery...

1. allow us to make $100s of billions on the drug trade - it is good!
2. allow us to throw non violent drug offender in jail - it is good!
3. allow us to take away property rights - it is good!
4. allow us to charge $1800/month for a weed - it is good!
5. allow us to launder trillions in drug money - it is good!
6. allow us to illegally search you - it is good!
7. allow us to shoot your pets for a gram of marijuana, in front of your 8 year old - it is good!
8. allow us to set up a police state - it is good!
9. allow us to divert billions in debt to our purposefully failed programs - it is good!
10. allow us to deal drugs in your inner city and make billions - it is good!

they told you they would do it!

concentration camps are simply too expensive to maintain.

youtube.com

by the way - i don't support drug use.

i am scared to death of corrupt government and how they use the drug war as a weapon against the citizenry of this nation and others.

planting crack in the inner city was simply cruel of our government - and the did it for profit!
