Trouble is, most all of these stations are no longer owned by BP:

BP ought to be made to release these franchisees from these contracts and pay all expenses of converting the stores to the brand of the owners' choice. A lot of small business' bank loans are going to go very bad as we all avoid BP stations.

If not, I hope to see them charged with defrauding those who thought they were signing up with a legitimate outfit.
