Further to my argument about different populations (between right and left) let me quote from a colume in the June 2010, Scientific american by Steve Mirsky titled "Presidential Harrisment". In early March, Harris interactive conducted an online survey to gauge the attitudes of Americans toward Obama. The results showed the ignorance of the American people in spades. 40% think Obama is a socialist (he is not), 32% beleive he is a muslim, 24% of REPUBLICANS believe Obama might be the anti Christ. 22% of Republicans think Obama wants the terrorists to win. Chinu you know that is simply nutso thinking. What Mirsky then goes on to do, is ask a bunch of questions that show how convoluted and incorrect those folks thinking is. E.g. "Do you consider your belief that Obama might be the anti Christ to be a sign of your open mindedness and scientific outlook." (me-lol) About 25% of the Republican party is just plain nuts. If you are nuts you can suvive in the Republican party or on FOX. That is not true of the democratic party or PBS. We weed most of the nutcases out.
