Sink the (Turkey) warships

Would have that any implications for NATO?

I would be worried that this may indeed bring down the government - but only to be replaced by something even more radical. No one likes to have their fleets sunk, and the Turks who are proud of their military history certainly would not. I think Israelis would have to think up something different.

Bill, the Turkish army is far better than Arab armies, and the Turks and Israelis know each other well due to all their past joint exercises. Plus, the army is absolutely the part of Turkey that Israel least wants to harm.

Wasn't there mention in the news about a week or two back that Israel had launched 2(?) top of the line submarines in the gulf? The scene is set.
