LBJ deficit spending for guns and butter. The French kept redeeming dollars for gold until 1971 when the US announced that foreign central banks could no longer redeem dollars for gold. Notice how product price inflation went wild without the discipline of gold.

saves, blame the elites that never gave americans a choice to elect someone who would actually work for the people.

this is true of congressmen and presidents alike.

yes, americans are greedy and naive (like all people, really), but they never had a real choice - the elites made sure of that.

and when someone didn't act right, they just assassinate them in broad daylight to get the message out - don't f* with us or this will be done to you.
