I grew up in a South with separate everything in the 40's. I saw that stuff in the movies. For me, that type of thinking in regard to Jews (for Americans, at least) is historical study, not a real world thing. I recall watching Ship of Fools, and thought how outdated it was that they made the dwarf (I think he was a dwarf) sit with the Jewish guy, because no one wanted to sit at his table. I think most people who dwell on "anti-Jewish" attitudes are 60+, or foreigners. I've met a few Americans who have negative views of black people, but never met an actual person who had negative views of Jewish people. Amongst Americans a negative view of Israel is one thing, but I have never met a person who doesn't like Jews. What in the world is not too like - we've got Mormons, Amish, Branch Davidians, Waco folks, Woody Allen and his 40 year younger than him wife, and the church TV people all living here just fine, given that why would anyone get upset with Jewish people?
