her way of saying there shouldn't be a Jewish nation located where Israel is today. She and people like her had their chance to speak their minds - and do something about it - prior to 1948. The fact is that there actually does exist a thriving, modern, Western style, free, advanced capitalist nation in that region. The vast majority of its citizens never set foot in Poland or Germany, and those nations owe them nothing. People like Thomas are blurting irrational nonsense based on their fantasies, and nothing more.
