Something a little more about what it actually tells you -- for example, I know that the moving average is a way to see the trend by removing spikes, etc from the data.
The linear regression line picks two points and draws the best fit between them. I would guess the moving linear regression takes the moving average of multiple linear regression lines? [a little hazy on this one]
Finally, what does it mean to look at both these indicators together: ie, why and how are they related? I guess that's my real question, since I'd like to understand how it works (as much as i can, anyway!)
