One of William Buckley's great accomplishments was chasing anti-Semitism out of the conservative movement. I remember seeing Buckley on tv as a kid. I never quite got the gist of what he was saying because I thought his accent so bazaar... Hey, I was a kid.... My father is Jewish and has always been a republican and a conservative but the only political exposure I got was when he was screaming at the tv......... I've done better with my own son.
