As I wrote earlier, I think one can have a negative view of present day Israel and have a positive view of Jews. Israel is inhabited by Jews, Elroy, and its governments are voted in by Jews. You cannot routinely accuse Israel and Israelis of every fantastic crime ever thought up by Hitler and Goebbels, and have a positive view of Jews. Typical examples I have seen recently: Israel is accused of executing innocent Turkish peace activists in order to deliberately provoke a war with Turkey (that commentator cited Walt and Mearshimer as an authority who had proved that Zionists were always creating such incidents to deliberately ruin US relations with every ME country but Israel), shooting Palestinian youth to sell their organs, frying Palestinian kids in white phospherus, staving 1.5 million Gazans to death, ruling the world through secret neocon cabals that Helen Thomas was "bravely" defying, forcing the US to fight against Muslims against its own interests. And so on and so forth.
