If we threw out every law that had the potential to be abused then there wouldn't be any laws left.

Personally I am in favor of racial profiling. The reason is it makes sense and only idiots would deny that. Should we search young Arab males going on airplanes more frequently than elderly Japanese women in wheelchairs? Sure. Only a moron would say no. Should we question the immigration status of young latinos in Arizona more frequently than black people in Detroit? Absolutely, but I don't make or judge the law. Under the new Arizona law any case which involves stopping someone without probably cause is subject to being tossed out of court.
