passing the dire time while reading and bbq-ing and chatting away and while thinking about one's gold is certainly pleasant, and

preferable to peeing against the wind of the equity market and counting the months to recovery and trying not to pay attention to the horribles days after terrible nights of everything else

the much worse is still ahead of us, possibly long ahead, certainly for a long elapsed time, but definitely much worse
