Because we NEVER do the one thing that would work, REALLY punish the employers of illegals, and make THEM the enforcers of the law. As long as the jobs here pay twenty times what they could make in the best job they could get in Mexico, they will come.

I don't think its as simple as that but I understand what you're saying and I definitely think employers should be taken to task.

how do you do that ?? they have fake IDs, so how do you check them out ?

where I live only recently could you ask for ID, before that this liberal area made it illegal for a business owner ask for ID
