Q: “When is an environmentalist not an environmentalist?”
A: “When it comes to windpower.”

Industrial scale wind farms require lots of cement, steel, aluminum, copper and rare earths to build, need service roads to keep them maintained, have to be supported by fossil-fuel generated power, and they're “cuisinarts of the air” as the California Sierra Club branded them, killing vast amounts of raptors, migratory birds and bats.
