Gardenia I have been a proponent of the UN for several decades, and paid up member of the United Nations Association when Hu Yao Bang came to NZ for a visit. I have a UN flag which I fly at times such as when Bill Clinton came for a visit to NZ and East Timor needed some geopolitical input to stop carnage.

That doesn't mean I think it is well-designed or other than a start in the right direction [actually, unfortunately, much the wrong direction with places for the likes of Helen Clark who would make the world Helengrad writ large].

My father, who was instrumental in defeating Rommel and Hitler was also a proponent of a world government. His mother fled the Franco Prussian war as an infant. Our interest in world class law goes back a long way. That doesn't mean law enacted by China, Russia, Libya, North Korea, Rwanda, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and other less than ethical places who you think are superior to Israel.
