He's banned 10% of the people following that forum (of a slim 128). I can't think of a better way to create a comfortable group of lock-step thinkers. In my experience, if I'm comfortable all the time, somebody somewhere is going to be handing me my head. This forum, by comparison, has 7x as many regulars (assuming an equal share of "still here on SI") but only 2 banned. Here, people are arguing and debating all the time. Uncomfortable, frequently. Just as I want it to be, so that my head may last as long as the rest of me.
