Wow! A lot of good points from
Mario, DrRisk, and Juan. And that
extra cool link was awesome. This
is exactly the kind of forum that
is worthwhile.

Thanks for the good work. Maybe QDog
will have some opinions to add.

if anything- the "biggie" that would be thenplayer in this JV-this is a weaker show of hands- they dilute and pay 14% that doesn't equate to a pillar of strength-
I take it as an achilles heel-
but in fact the cash allows them to hold and search out a partner-
if in fact that is what they are doing-
when a company is willing to dilute their beloved shares- it is like bloodletting- this bloodletting better have a better reason than yours or it will be a bloodbath-
because then the jv will wait until the cash disappears and come in as a white knight.
borrowing money on these terms is no good unless your return on the loan willbe much better-
ex- sim hong woo ceo creaf borrows $20 million and buys creaf stock @ 12 in july/june now where is the stock?
its ok to pay 10% if you earn 100%

Nice Post and I agree!! AIPN has demonstrated that they will make good on the statement that Oil will be in the pipeline by late 1st quarter or early second quarter. They now have the funds to accomplish this and will continue to receive funds from the Refinery.
Basically, they are letting out the call that if you want to play you better start playing now. It would be a possibility to begin releasing more bits of info to show their strength. Such as more definitive seismic estimates.
It appears that whomever it was they were dealing with before wanted to keep everything quiet. For one reason or another now the silence is broken. All this financing just may be a part of the deal as the JV partner involved continues to finance them so AIPN has time to prove the concession and the partner keeps his stake in the findings.
Did everyone notice those stock prices they were throwing around in this agreement?? Apparently they do not consider them as unrealistic number. All the prices mentioned in the previous financing arrangement were met and exceeded.
It seems very reasonable to believe that with the Kazachstan players involved that they already know where the best place to drill is and that they are looking for more locations.
The ride appears to finally be getting a bit more exciting. The uptick on AIPN defied all the markets today which were down. That is a good sign.

Peace, NoMoney

Juan....I'm sorry, do you know what a billion barrel field takes, monetarily, to produce? That's assuming it is a billion barrels.

What's to prevent everyone in this industry to say, TIME. The oil, if it is there, isn't going anywhere! IF AIPN, with no leg to stand on for now, is PLAYING hardball, then you think bigtime oil will capitulate into seeing it their WAY???

If you believe that a 1 bil. field will be produced by less than 100 mil, I've got many bridges for sale!!!

What Juan has outlined here is exactly the model that has transpired in a technology deal. Think of AIPN when you read this...

Xinex is a Canadian company started by 2 ex-Presidents of Nortel technology and Mitel technology. After 2 years of development work they are in Beta trial (WITH TELCOS!) but with almost no cash left. The industry is very excited about their LAN/telephony capabilities. Rumour is Cisco had offered a low price but at this point the existing investers know they are on the brink of huge bucks so do not want to give the farm away.

Xinex needs a big JV player to help with distribution and validation of the concept and quick huge market share growth (which requires cash).

So Xinex didn't have to bargain the ship away they are raising a few more million to keep them going for greater leverage at the bargaining table. Don't forget...Cisco is in talks here.

Clearly what and Exxon is to AIPN is what CIsco is to Xinex.

Holding strong!!!

Kind Regards,

Mark
