It's not recovery....it's a cover up. They papered over it. They tanked the dollar March 2009 and inflated us. Additionally, they PRINTED trillions out the wazoo, gave it to the banksters, who then gambled it in the equity markets.
Let's deal in facts.
Now, the dollar is rocketing. This will kill multi-nationals, earnings, and GDP, IMO....like in 2008.
It's now back to deflation.
Lumber, copper, aluminium, oil, all sinking....and will destroy earnings and GDP, IMO.

Unless this market collapses today, it appears we may have that confirmation... several things occur to me at this time...

Firstly, I doubt that any one will actually believe this buy signal, since "everyone" is expecting this market to go lower, this also includes me... but, this level of doubt is exactly what it takes to fuel a rally to surprising heights...

Secondly, if I may use some reverse engineering, e.g., to predict fundamentals from the current market action, one could argue that the current primaries and the main elections in November may signify a significant turning point in Washington, or the beginning of one, and since these markets do look 6 to 10 months ahead, that the market senses the political climate in Washington may well turn more user friendly to companies and to investors...

This is all just a guess here, but at least an attempt to consider future fundamentals that could possibly justify a legitimate confirmed buy signal today, which looks very promising at this moment...<g>
