STARPOINT GOLDFIELDS INC. LISTED: VSE:STS

Dear Investor,ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ November 1997
Re:ÿ Tele, Panga & Ngayu West concessions - Northeast Democratic Republic
ÿÿÿÿ of Congo
The mining data and maps that Starpoint obtained from theÿ Centralÿ African
Museumÿ inÿ Belgiumÿ lastÿ monthÿ confirms earlier data and has enabled the
Company to advance quickly on development on the above Concession. Canadian
geologist, Gordon Richards, P.Eng. leaves this week for the properties with
an identified target.
Richards' report on the above data and map indicating goldÿ minedÿ onÿ this
concession,ÿ includingÿ 10ÿ tonsÿ of alluvial gold alone, is available. The
Institute of Geology in Belgium is also preparing detailed reportsÿ onÿ all
threeÿ concessionsÿ fromÿ theÿ volumesÿ of data of Belgian mining companies
active in the area prior to the Congo achieving independence.
Geologists have been on the property recentlyÿ andÿ reportÿ miningÿ byÿ the
locals on all three of Starpoint's northeast concessions.
It is hoped that the patternÿ ofÿ goldÿ miningÿ atÿ Mambatiÿ onÿ theÿ Ngayu
Concessionÿ by the Belgians in the late 1940's and '50's i.e., near surface
decomposed bedrock over a length of 7 kilometers and width of 300 meters is
indicatingÿ aÿ structureÿ hostingÿ zonesÿ ofÿ ore grade gold mineralization
possibly containing several million ounces. Similar geological environments
aroundÿ theÿ worldÿ areÿ knownÿ toÿ hostÿ just such deposits. Starpoint has
information that Barrick Gold is working in this region and quoted below is
the report over the Dow-Jones Wire services November 6, 1997:
"Barrick Gold to Invest $300M in Congo Mining Site

KINSHASA, Congo (Dow Jones) -- A Canadian mining firmÿ hasÿ saidÿ itÿ would
investÿ $300ÿ million in a mining concession in the Kilo-Moto mining region
in eastern Congo, national radio has announced.
The broadcast this week said Barrick Gold Corp. (ABX) oneÿ ofÿ theÿ world's
largest gold companies, had already sent more than 220 tons of equipment to
the site, where it hopes to produce 200 tonsÿ ofÿ goldÿ overÿ theÿ nextÿ 10
years. A local newspaper hailed the announcement saying it would bring many
benefits to Congo's cash-strapped economy. Le Potential said more thanÿ $24
million of Barrick's investment would be used for the development of roads,
energy and communication infrastructure."
See Starpoint's Website:ÿ www.starpoint.comÿ forÿ Gordonÿ Richards,ÿ P.Eng.
"Goldÿ Explorationÿ Report"ÿ andÿ Figureÿ 2ÿ specificallyÿ for proximity of
Starpoint's Ngayu, Panga, and Tele Concessions to Barrick's Kiloÿ andÿ Moto
Concessions.
Starpoint's Tele and Panga concessions have similar geology.
