That "Blue Marlin" is quite the engineering triumph in and of itself. I still have trouble imagining that beast out in 40-50 foot seas.

RE: ThunderHorse. I hadn't thought about that rig in quite some time. Hurricane Dennis batted it around a bit, but it survived. I alternate between outrage at the furor at the oil companies - given their massive risks and expenses to bring oil to the markets - and their screw-ups.
