But if we go with my suggestion of median income, as you wrote: In 1955 the median family income was $4,418, and the marginal tax rate on that much income was 22% (Actually I see the chart says "24%", not 22%, for Head of Household for that year....) So... WHAT is median income level for the year 2010? (I see your same chart reporting "15%" for Head of Household in 2010, up to an income of $45,550... and switching over to the 25% bracket there....)
