Hi Duane: Semi Conductor demand is on the increase. However that demand has to be balanced by the following facts. a: No of Fab plants have increased and exceeed demand. b: S.E Asia production cost are less. c: Because of deflation in SE Asia , Fab plants there will be encouraged to dump. d: The U.S heavyweights like TXN,IBM,INTL have entered LSI's space. e: The 35 micron line is giving way to the 25 mic line . LSI's new plant (35mic) may be outmoded sooner than planned. The pricing history of the Chips in question may point you to the future.
