"Your forgetting payroll taxes" I'm not 'forgetting' anything. We haven't added all the extra factors in yet. (You are the one who brought up the idea of "total tax load", which involves state level assessments and many other things as well! It gets complicated.) One thing at a time. You haven't even agreed on the use of "median income level" as an acceptable definition by you for "Middle Class". Without a jointly agreed definition for Middle Class we can't even go any further yet because we would simply be wasting all our time.
