aeashley: Yes I currently call in the bulk of my trades. I use PC Quotes through the internet with a local ISP.

I was a Mac user in the beginning also but Windows to me is 90% of what Mac is so I made the switch ( knew I'd have to sooner or later)

Reading the tape? go back and read this thread from post 1. It will teach you some of the basics of what to look for when reading the tape. Also read all of the posts on From The Trading Desk, a thread hosted by a trader from New Jersey who takes questions on the mechanical aspects of trading. Once you've done that you'll will have gone a long way to learning how to read the tape. The bottom line with tape reading is basically time spent watch live quote screens for hours,days.weeks.years....

PC Quote 6.0 gives you quotes that are equivalent to what a broker has access to . It's a must for serious traders. A.B. Waltey uses PC Quotes data feed and software so their screens are identical.

Insider trading information is something that is available on the net but
I believe it has limited value.

If you have any further questions ask away.

Cheers!
