I think what General Petraeus has suggested regarding Palestine is a good idea. What suggestion?.. That Israel and Palestine be added to CENTCOM area of interest? spectator.org I would agree, since Hamas politicians have publicly stated they plan to wage war against us when they are done with Israel. They are just as much of a threat to our interests as they are to Israel's. But we need to get written commitments from other Arab states that they will publicly denounce that Israel has to be eliminated in order to create either "Arab Unity", or a restored "Caliphate". Because there will be no peace in the region until those political/religious agendas are neutralized. Again, it's my belief that Israelis want peace.. Maybe a few hardcore leaders want war, but the people want peace. But quite a few Palestinians would rather wage war than accept the existence of Israel, including the entire Palestinian government in Gaza. Hawk
