I agree they are all whores. But the GOP tends to institutionalize the practices a bit more. It is part of the Chamber of Commerce mentality that they tend to subscribe to in overwhelming numbers. As I have maintained on several boards, we will continue to be abused by all of our elected officials until we break their seniority system and implement term limits. Without that control, they will all continue to operate on their own accounts, the country be damned. If the tea party folks are serious about taking back the country, that is where to start.
