Chancels, I suspect that BP USA - or whatever name they use for the domestic corporation - will declare BK. That will expose the assets of BP USA to claims and shelter their world wide operations. Frankly, I think they should openly put the threat on the table as a counter shot across the bow to the ranting and raving feeding frenzy politicians. Lord - this is a massive problem to be solved - not a political opportunity to prove how macho some fools can be! When this is done - who will not think twice about doing business in the land of lawyers and demagogue politicians. Ultimately the most damage will not be the oil spill - it will be the economic environment of our once great - but now bankrupt - nation. Bob
