I am so rocking this old song yet again today:

youtube.com

I tried to do my best, it's up to you to do the rest

...

that works for you, cause you a younger, ain't you? (younger than me) but this coming generation... my neices and nephews age and those a bit younger... they are the ones. the 'greatest' generation did great things. the people in the south in the late 50's and early 60's and those who came to help from new england did great things. (hah, the timeline leaves out the hippies for having had a thing to do with civil rights)... all great things that kept us on the road. but this next generation... they are the ones who will turn this country away from oil and away from crying over oil in the gulf when Nigeria is wrecked from us using it for oil. they will take us to the next level. my generation... we tried. but the hippies were not interested in a 'generation' beyond them doing great things. they stuck us in the 60's as much as the righties did. enough already. the future is now.
