What the US is experencing with BP is well known to the rest of the world.

It's called colonialism.

And British Colonialism is the worst kind.
Almost every former colony has a nasty civil war.

BP America bankruptcy will mean BP's Alaska operations will be up for sale. Leaky pipes and all.
