I think that is an excellent point. I would like to read somewhere what happens if bp allows its USA sub to file for bankruptcy. what is the rest of it worth? can the us do anything to the holding company? It may have no choice but to file for some kind of bankruptcy so that it can continue to get financing elsewhere. I suspect that the BP problem could end up being Obama's Iran.
