Its this lack of intellectual rigor that is dragging the GOP down.

You were argueing that the deficiet would bring the economy down a couple of years ago when it was less than 30% GPD.

I said its never good to run a country on deficit spending. And it isn't. Nothing has changed.

So now somehow it will be better now that it is approaching 100% of GPD?

First of all, the number is not 100% of GDP. Secondly, there was a major screw up....the banks and wall street went beserk and threatened to bring the global economy down around our knees. I am not an ideologue. A crisis situation requires special considerations. That's what happened to us when the Great Recession looked like it could become a second depression.

That somehow spending money on companies that simply used it to cover their losses, without additional loans to business, improved the economy?

Yes. What could have been a depression proved to be only a serious recession.

That a stimulus package that mostly propped up government jobs and further increase government spending without spending the monies on private business, improved the economy.

It propped up enough people to prevent the economy from falling into a sinkhole. Only the minority Rs believe otherwise.

You are the idiot that needs to do some research!

Dude, idiocy has never been my problem.
