You need to look up the responsibilities and duties of the queen. They have very little to do with private corps.

She is still Queen, and thus represents entire nation. Yes she is nothing more than a figure head with little more than diplomatic powers, but she can still wrap Obama around her little finger. Besides I am sure she knows someone to call who does have much to do with private corps.
