Yeah, I hear you. I've been keeping an eye on M3 and it continues to tank. That tells me that even with our Bernanke gone mad with QE, the deflationary pressures are winning in the short run due to economic contraction. So inflation may be a year out or more.

But here's the kicker. I think this kind of thing acts like a coiled spring. Bernanke continues to put pressure against the spring and eventually the potential energy in that spring will be unleashed. And when it does, we could go straight from low/no inflation to hyperinflation. I hope that doesn't happen.
