BIG: "A raft of disappointing July sales data helped pull retail stocks down" today. "Closeout retailer Big Lots Inc (BIG.N) posted second-quarter sales below Wall Street view.
Same-store sales, a key measure of retail health, rose 3.8 percent. The company was expecting same-store sales to grow 4 percent to 5 percent."

Stock is down; I will add a little more to my small position.

I'll punch up my position in closeout retailer Big Lots.

Company's had several name changes and several changes in management. Current management seems to to have got the right mix of product and pricing: roe has been at or over 20% in the last three years.

Current p/e is about 12. [t]BIG[/t] is debt-free with $2 in cash.
