What do you folks make of the complete lack of follow through volume with today's rise?

Lowest volume since May 3rd, right before the "Flash Crash".

HI Shack,

If you planned for a powerful new impulsive wave to begin.

Would you not want the least possible longs to be on board.

Additionally the best run up would also have trapped the most shorts (read that low volume on the initial reversal point).

To me, the set up has all the makings of a maximum power Impulsive wave up.

The perfect storm so to say.

Bob

If one looks at that indicator in isolation, there have never been so many folks placing bets to the downside as they have over the last month.

Could be in part because at the top there was a shortage of shorts, they got squeezed out.... now, many folks may be all at once rushing to hedge and play short.
