Easy answer to the big question.

What would occur should the Israeli's lay down their weapons and declare peace is in hand and leave Hezbo and Hamas armed ?

What would occur should Hamas and Hezbo declare peace is at hand and disarm while Israel keeps her weapons ?

The answer to the 1st scenario is Israel would be wiped out and all her citizens murdered... which is what the end game is for Iran and her proxies.

With the 2nd scenario the Pal's would have a partner in growing their economy and country while enjoying a peace which they would have no idea how to cope with... having spent their entire lives fomenting hate and death.

Sarman is a proxy of Iran.

Iran Joins the Flotilla…NOT
The Iranians have announced that “if the Supreme Leader gives the word,” the Iranian Navy will accompany future flotillas to Gaza.

You can be quite certain that the Leader is not about to give that word (and between you, me and the lamp post, I have my doubts about how quickly that order would be carried out, if at all). Ali Khamenei’s idea of war-fighting has to do with rounding up his critics, or sending Arab (not Iranian) suicide terrorists into the fray.

He’s not going to start a real fight that he’d quickly lose, thereby precipitating the fall of his regime.

What about the Turks? Daniel Jackson thinks Erdogan is serious about using the flotilla incident as causus belli and that Turkey is preparing to go to war against Israel. I am no expert on Turkey, but I am prepared to consider the possibility that the Iranians have urged him to attack, and that they swear to Allah that they’ve got his back. It would be folly to believe the mullahs, who love to gull others into doing their dirty work, but Erdogan might be dreaming crazy dreams about being the great liberator, taking back the Holy Land, and reconstituting the Empire/Caliphate.

Yes it’s crazy. But the world is full of crazies. And the United States is absent, thereby giving the crazies license to act on their nutty visions.

And your policy in supporting HAMAS and Hizballah is any different?
Are you losing it? What that your respond has to do with what I I posted? However, When the Israelis kill people in the name of killing Hamas and Hizbo, they are killing innocent bystanders. Unless you agree with OBL Killing American is okay because he has a beef with the American government.

The only difference I see is that we've chosen the lesser of two evils out of a lack of available options
You are naive, truly.

(other than outright war and "nation building" to do the "social re-wiring" we had to do in Germany and Japan).
I stand by my believes, there are alternatives and we will lose badly.

The Salafist/Wahhabist movement in Saudi Arabia is the head of the snake. The most we can do at this juncture is to pressure the Saudis to moderate their religious fanatics while we strengthen moderate and progressive forces around it's periphery.
They are the American government stooges. We keep them so we keep the the ruling Sauds in check.
