We could have contained that oil spill very early if odumbimbo allowed non union vessels to help in the containment, 12 of them offered to assist immediately to vacuum up the oil off the surface, but he refused to allow any ships into the area that do not hire 100% union workers... he's protecting the unions, to hell with America...

(Bush is the one who *gutted* Minerals Management Service, downsized it and stuffed it's management with oil industry cronies! Hell, he had Ken Lay pick 'regulators' for the energy industry. :-)
