Since I'm behind in reading posts I don't know if this has been posted, but it's something everyone should listen to. It's Stephen Roach and his thoughts on China, its currency, and its future. It's the implications for the US (not good). I haven't quite finished it yet, but he has his sh*t together. mcalvanyweeklycommentary.com

Anybody think there is a Euro equivalent of the "Book of Life" for TBTF banks? I've been short STD, and I'm considering adding to it. I can't imagine how they avoid disaster given there geographical exposure, but the way they've been acquiring other failing banks, I'm wondering if they're a TBTF designee. BC
