Bill G., walk this way! [to me -G-]. Now in re Fast Track: IBD has had numerous articles on this subject, and I also am still foggy on it, but my impression is this: It has to do with Bill Clinton's authority to negotiate trade agreements with individual countries, i.e. "Okay Chile, I'm signing here and you are now included in NAFTA". Without this authority, each country's trade agreements have to be hammered out in Congress. You know how congress is -- filled with guys talking with influential special interest groups like the AFL-CIO, etc., who are opposed very much to Clinton having this kind of authority. You remember Ross Perot and the "great sucking sound", right? [U.S. jobs going to Mexico].

That's the jist, not sure exactly what you were looking for.
