CS takeover is pretty well a done deal. Insiders well positioned in PHL
It will come at a copper low
$3 will likely fly

I think that surprises rarely come out of the blue ! In other words, a takeout or discovery would usually be heralded by a rising stock that would trigger your stop beforehand. I think a short is the preferred alternative to being out of the stock, not the alternative to being long.

(Proving that man is a rationalising animal rather than rational... shorting doubles your fun ! It is my intention to play CS continuously as a horse of my stable. I'm short because its chart says it's in the "short mode", I look forward to switching, perhaps after I have made shorting profits).

Postscript:

Onepath, could you give an example of a big surprise to the upside in what had been a falling stock ("short mode")?
