I have every confidence that BP will survive. I also have every confidence that based on the way they've handled things to date that they will continue to shoot themselves in the foot again and again until someone who understands the value of perceptions is put in charge. Until then why risk good money chasing something that is presently the leper of the industry? If you want to own it so badly, why not sell puts? P.S. Apologies if this comes across as trying to tell you how to spend your money.
