I thought I had a winner at 6 to 1 when the U.S. had that shot that hit the post in the second half. Oh well. Shite, Reaper! Have you learned nothing from this thread? If you'd have placed that bet with Goldman Sachs and allowed them to work up a credit default swap derivative against it, and then promised Bernanke a kickback, then you would have won that bet for sure. GS would have probably ensured that England's goalie was a sleeper agent to tank the team in case your bet couldn't be won legitimately. GS rules!
