Shite, Reaper! Have you learned nothing from this thread? If you'd have placed that bet with Goldman Sachs and allowed them to work up a credit default swap derivative against it, and then promised Bernanke a kickback, then you would have won that bet for sure. GS would have probably ensured that England's goalie was a sleeper agent to tank the team in case your bet couldn't be won legitimately. GS rules!
